Robert G. Wilkin, P.E., applies the knowledge he has accumulated in over 46 years as a civil engineer to identify problems in existing structures and to make the construction process more cost efficient for the owner. He has been with CBI for 19 years and is constantly refining his skills. He is known at CBI as the Water Mitigation Specialist. His extensive knowledge of contemporary and historic construction materials has helped him to become proficient in the evaluation and restoration of buildings of all types and ages, with an emphasis on cost-effective solutions that will perform optimally.
Steven A. Watchorn, A.I.A., LEED AP BD+C, Associate & Senior Project Manager

Steven Watchorn is experienced and trained in the fields of Architecture, Planning and Urban Design. His unique background makes him a valuable asset to our team in site planning, building analysis, design and project management. He is accomplished in all aspects of architectural practice, from schematic design through the production of working drawings and construction administration for multi-million dollar facilities.
Arno L. Skalski, Assoc. A.I.A., LEED AP – Director of Building Technology
Arno L. Skalski is a diverse, skilled professional with more than 26 years experience in the building design, engineering and construction industry. He is the head of CBI’s Building Technology Division and responsibilities include project management for architectural and engineering design projects with an emphasis in building systems, building design technology and historical restoration. His effective management skills help him to meet strict deadlines and budgets while maintaining scope and quality of the project. Mr. Skalski is also in charge of expanding markets, improving quality control and quality assurance, and training and mentoring staff. His prior experience focused on forensic science, building envelope design, and construction management. He also worked in the roofing manufacturing industry as a technical review specialist.
Danielle Quarantello, Controller / Business Manager
Danielle is CBI’s Controller and Business Manager with over 20 years of accounting and management experience. She manages all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, human resources, benefits, and office administration. Her management and accounting skills have lead CBI to a new level of organizational efficiency.
Andrea M. Willett, A.I.A., LEED AP BD+C, Project Manager
Andrea Willett is a highly skilled and experienced Architect and Project Manager with CBI. With over twenty-eight years of experience, she is a thoughtful designer who thoroughly enjoys each aspect of a project from start to finish. She strives to bring clarity to each one of her projects so that all involved parties are always on the same page. One of the challenges that she enjoys is working with her clients to help anticipate different problems that may emerge during each phase of the design and construction process. Ms. Willett has a diverse list professional design experience including public, historic, residential (single, multi-family and affordable housing), and commercial projects, to name a few. Most recently, she worked on a preservation project for the historic Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth, MA which included installing waterproofing over the aging Guastavino tile vaulted ceiling in the rare books library and Executive Director’s office. She managed the investigation and repair recommendation of the unusual structural support system. Ms. Willett was in charge of putting the bid documents together and working with the Massachusetts Historical Commission to make sure the work met their standards as the Pilgrim Society had been awarded a grant towards the work. The design was executed, the MHC construction document review process was aligned with budget, the bid process, and construction through the winter months completed the project within the MGH fiscal grant cycle.
Steven A. McDermott, Field Engineer
When the owner, contractor, and engineer work as a team, it is easier to finish the job.
Stephen A. McDermott joined CBI Consulting fresh out of school 22 years ago to assist the firm during forensic investigations and to hone his engineering skills. He is responsible for design of construction documents for a range of new and existing commercial and residential projects, which involve structural engineering, waterproofing evaluation, building envelope study, and field observation for specific projects. Mr. McDermott assembles cost estimates of proposed repairs for clients in addition to coordinating the project with the client and appropriate licensed contractors. He works as a jack of all trades to provide the Principals with enough information to properly evaluate various structures.
Greg K. Christensen, Assoc. A.I.A., Project Manager
Greg Christensen is a highly experienced, detail-oriented Designer and Project Manager with over twenty years of Architectural Design experience and complemented by and educational background in both Architecture and Business Administration. His experience has primarily included municipal repair, renovation and new construction, commercial and residential design, as well as construction document production and drafting. Greg’s diverse experience and ability to clearly and effectively communicate with all participants brings a comprehensive viewpoint to every project that allows him to process and understand the perspectives of all members of a project team, while maintaining the priorities of the Owner or end-user.
Erik A. Woodin, Building Envelope Engineer
Erik Woodin is a Building Envelope Engineer in CBI’s Building Technology Division. Erik has extensive experience with standardized building envelope assemblies testing including water and air infiltration testing of fixed and operable window systems, storefronts and curtainwall systems and vector mapping and infrared scanning of roofing systems. Erik performs thorough and thoughtful building envelope conditions assessments, leak source investigations and assists with the design of creative repair solutions. With his graduate degree in Green Building & Design his focus is on creating more energy-efficient existing buildings.
