Challenge:
Complete historical restoration of a Depression-era stadium.
Solution:
Structural analysis of the grandstands and canopy, design of alternative canopy designs to reduce weight of overturning element, foundation design, waterproof deck coating to protect the structure, steel railing replacement. Design of new press box and roof replacement at electric room and dugouts. Design of new stairs, handicapped accessibility, lighting, paving, and landscaping. Color and graphics options. New comfort station at adjacent playing field, including new plumbing and electrical service. Light pole repair and repainting.
