Challenge:
Perform structural review of exterior cracks in masonry to determine capacity of existing beams. Design new parking garage addition to accommodates an additional 200 cars with minimal disruption to existing garage
Solution:
Complete full service design of new auditorium within the existing facility, included the removal of the existing columns and raising four structural bays of the roof. Installation of new roof structure, roofing, exterior finishes and windows, and new auditorium plan with theater-stepped seating, interior finishes, acoustical and custom lighting design, quiet HVAC and lighting systems, and full audiovisual support, included teleconferencing and rear projection.
