CBI was engaged to work with a new management company engaged to maintain this long neglected 1,200 sq. ft. parking garage to develop and implement a program of repair. The garage along the Boston waterfront consists of three cast-in-place concrete levels below grade and seven levels of precast concrete above grade.
CBI conducted a full garage survey to inventory all the deficiencies and related extent. The data was then budget costed for planning purposes. The report that followed consisted of a three-dimensional matrix of cost, effort and hierarchy of severity and safety. The resulting program allowed management to secure funding and complete the repairs and maintenance update over a five year period.
