Challenge:

The existing floor slabs at 23 of the City of Boston's Fire Stations do not have the capacity to support new modern equipment.

Solution:

Complete investigation was performed and a report was prepared outlining existing conditions and recommendations for remedial repair and/or replacement to satisfy BFD apparatus loading requirements. Each building was investigated and evaluated on an individual basis with consideration given for station equipment priorities.
