Challenge:

Design repairs for this garage consisting of four framed levels with one on grade. This superstructure consists of cast-in-place concrete slabs on steel wide-flange columns and beams, and the total area is 200,000 square feet.

Solution:

CBI performed detailed investigations of the structural slab and steel. The scope of work included a condition survey, design of remedial work, contract documents, bidding, and supervision of repair work. The repair work included replacement of 32,000 square feet of deteriorated concrete slab, structural steel reinforcement, and waterproofing.
